Terms of Service

By creating an account or using any part of the ForgePilot platform, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using ForgePilot on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

ForgePilot is a full-stack project management platform designed for teams including clients, moderators, tech professionals, and administrators. The platform provides tools for project creation and tracking, milestone management, financial oversight, Loom video submission and review, team collaboration, and role-based access control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3.1 Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.2 Account Roles

ForgePilot operates a role-based system (Admin, Moderator, Tech, Client). Your access to features is determined by the role assigned to your account. Attempting to access features or data beyond your assigned role is strictly prohibited.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. You may also close your account at any time by contacting hello@forgepilot.io.

4.1 Payment Processing

Payments on ForgePilot are processed through Stripe. By initiating a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service in addition to these Terms. All transactions are in the currency displayed at checkout.

4.2 Milestone Payments

ForgePilot supports milestone-based payment structures. Funds held in escrow are released upon milestone approval by the relevant parties. Disputes regarding milestone completion must be raised within 7 days of the milestone status change.

4.3 Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the terms agreed between the client and service provider within the platform. ForgePilot is not responsible for resolving payment disputes between platform users but may intervene where fraud is suspected.

You agree not to: use the platform for any unlawful purpose; upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content; impersonate another user or entity; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure; scrape, reverse engineer, or reproduce any part of the platform without written permission; submit false or misleading information in projects, Loom reviews, or comments; or use the platform to harass, threaten, or harm others.

6.1 Our IP

All platform content, branding, code, and design elements are the intellectual property of ForgePilot and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our express written permission.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the platform (e.g. Loom videos, comments, project files). By uploading content, you grant ForgePilot a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForgePilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

ForgePilot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Your use of ForgePilot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a platform notice at least 14 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of ForgePilot after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
